Age Requirement; All Renters Must Be At Least 25 Years Of Age To Rent Unit.
Proper ID; Provide Proof Of A Valid Driver License; I Will Need The Driver License Of Whomever Will Be Towing Camper, And Renter Must Submit A Copy To Family First Camper Rental.
Insurance ; Once A Renter Has Been Approved By Melanie Lewis To Rent The Rv , And The Rental Agreement Has Been Filled Out And Signed, The Renter Is Automatically Covered For Comprehensive And Collision Coverage On The Rv. There Is No Additional Cost To The Renter For Insurance. Renters Are Responsible For Any And All Deductibles, Our deductible Is $1000.00
Renters Only Need To Provide To Melanie Lewis Proof Of Liability Coverage That Extends To The Tow Vehicle. I will Need Your Policy Number And Agents Name And Number.
Proper Tow Equipment; Must Be Installed On Renters Vehicle,
Requirements; "2" or 2 5/16 Receiver, 4 Or 7 Pin Wiring.
Renter Must Have A Safe Vehicle To Tow Unit With
Proper Working Lights For Turn Signals, Breaks, & Flashers
You Will Also Need A Tire Jack And Scissor Type Jack,
If Your Vehicle Does Not Have One Please Let Me Know And I Will Loan You One.
Some Of The Larger Campers Will Require A Break Controller Installed On Your Tow Vehicle, It Is The Renters Responsibility To Make Sure They Have The Proper Equipment, Units 14, 15, &16 Must Have A Break Controller! No exceptions!
Demonstration And Operations Of Unit; Renter Must Participate In Hands On Demonstration Of Set Up Of Rv, Operations Of Rv, And Safety Procedures. Please Allow Up To 1 Hour For Orientation. Renter will Also Be Required To Fill Out And Sign Rental Contract At Time Of Scheduled Rental.
No Smoking Policy; For The Comfort Of All Our Renters We Ask That You DO NOT SMOKE In Any Of Our Rv's. You Will Lose Your Security Deposit If You Or Any Guest Smokes In Our Campers.
Food Preperation; We Ask That You Do Not Cook Inside Any Of The Pop Up Campers With Grease, Fry Bacon, Fish Due To Fire Hazard And Smells, No Exceptions Please !
Additional Fees; There Will Be A Cleaning Fee Assessed Of $50.00 Or More If Rv Is Not Returned In Same Clean Condition As When It Left.
The Gray And Black Tanks Must Be Fully Emptied,
If Your Campsite Does Not Provide A Dump Station; The Truck Stops Allow You To Dump There For A Very Small Fee, Usually Costs About $10.00 There Will Be A $53.50 Dump Fee For Failure To Fully Dump Both Tanks, No Exceptions
Reservation Deposit; We Require A Reservation Deposit Of $150.00 To Secure Camper , The $150.00 Rental Deposit Will Be Applied Towards The Balance Of Your Rental Fees. The Rental Deposit Is Non Refundable, No Exceptions! Rental Fees Must Be Paid 4-6 Weeks In Advance Unless You Are Paying By Cash At Time Of Scheduled Pick Up Of Unit. Security Deposits Are Due 3-5 Days Prior To Your Scheduled Rental Date.
Security Deposit & Cleaning Deposit; We Require A Security Deposit Of $500.00 In State And $750.00 Out Of State, You Are responsible For Any Damages To Tires And Camper, The Camper Must Be Brought Back As Clean As When It Left, Both Tanks Dumped And Retreated, Camper Is Due Back By 3:00 Pm On return Date, Without Any Damages Or Violations, You Are Required To Inform Melanie Lewis Immediately if Any Damages Occur. Climbing On The Roof Of Campers Is Prohibited! Whomever Is On The Signed Rental Contract Must Be The Only Person To Tow The Camper, No Exceptions!You Are Responsible For All Toll Fees, If You Are Traveling Inside of Florida You Will Need A Pike Pass/ Sun Pass, You Must Call Them To Temporarily Add The Camper To Your Pass. You will Need The Campers Tag Number. You May Not Under Any Circumstances Rent The Camper To Anyone Else It Is Illegal! If You Did Not Pay A Clean Fee Upfront And The Camper Returns Dirty You Will Be Charged Out Of Your Security Deposit,Camper Must Be Brought Back As Clean As When It Left. No Exceptions And This Includes The Storage Compartments And Exterior Cook Stoves.

When Security Deposit Is Placed On Your Credit Card It Is Ran As A Pre Authorization; Which Means It Is Merely A Hold On Your Credit Card, (Hold Is Appx 2-4 Weeks)And As Long As The Camper Is Returned In the Same Condition And Damage Free And All Rules & Requirements Met Then Your Bank Will Lift The Hold, If There Are Any DamagesTo The Camper The Fees Will Come Out Of The Security Deposit, If Damages Exceed The $500.00/ $750.00 Security Deposit. You Are Responsible For Any Additional Costs And Or Fees. Cash Payments For The Security Deposit Will Be Refunded Within 7-10 Days Once Camper Returns And Is Inspected And All Rental Rules And Requirements Have Been Met and Camper Is Returned Without Any Damages And Or Additional Fees Then We Will Mail You A Company Check. Renter is responsible for any toll fees.

Pet Fees; There Is A Minimum $50.00 Non Refundable Fee Per Pet, 2 Maximum Allowed!! NO Puppies , Birds, Or Cats Allowed! Not All Campers Are Pet Friendly! Please Notify Me That You Have A Pet/Pets At The Time Of Rental And I Will Let You Know Which Units Are Pet Friendly. Failure To Notify Me Will Result In Forfeiture Of Your $250.00 Security Deposit!
